The presence of pearly vesicles on the rim of the glans is normal. However, when there are too many, the patient can feel that they are unsightly. They are sometimes wrongly confused with warts. They appear as light, smooth and rounded 1 to 3 mm papules. These vesicles are most often located around the glans in 1 to 2 rows. The histology of these pearly vesicles is that of angiofibroma.
Laser treatment is an effective and painless solution. Laser treatment is an outpatient procedure (entry into the clinic in the morning and discharge in the evening) performed in one or mores sessions in the operating room under short duration anaesthesia. It requires 24 hours of sick leave.
Sexual intercourse can resume at the end of healing, within 10 days on average.
